"But these hopes will obviously not be realized in 1998."......"The industry will eventually resume its double-digit growth rate, sooner than many people think"......He seems to be saying he(LSI) is going to surprise everyone....The first part is the prevailing reality and attitude , the second part is what the 1st part isn't recognising. The last part is what he sees.......why then wouldn't he make a big deal out of it....like LSI is going to beat numbers etc.....could it be lead time. The more time they don't see what he sees the farther he gets a head of them....according to Shane he really is in the right niches. Any thoughts....
