Yep, we're in sync. The only way. Worth it or not is
a matter of personal opinion.

You're absolutely correct about junk left behind in the
registry.

I have been moderately successful in cleaning the
registry manually. Takes a brave heart to do it though,
or, in my case, a disdain of the consequences. What
the hell, I figure. The worst is that I restart from
scratch, which is the only alternative I know anyhow.
