I agree. But a couple of fairly smart sell side analysts think apple is interested in macromedia.

However, given msft's recent joint submission and macr moving more of its suite to the win platform, msft makes some sense. however, i wouldn't want to own MACR on msft take out hopes. The DOJ flashlight is way too far up msft's backside right now for msft to make big acquisitions.
