Here's the connection between DOY and SEV per Doreal 1997 Annual Report, page 4-5.

Columbia: Tapir Association Contract. Mateguafa Prospect. The Mateguafa No 1 was spudded on 3-10-98 are reached 10,043 feet on 4-11-98. Logging and mud program were propitious but testing deferred until August or later due to rainy season.

JV partners: Doreal (12.5% WI; 11.67% NRI); Mobil (56.2%); Seven Seas (12.5%); and Mohave Oil (18.8%). Mohave is the operator for the well.

FYI, this contract area is located E-NE of Bogota. I don't know anything further about it. Good shows do not translate into reservoir rock with good permeability and perosity in all cases. Testing will tell the story. I'm not certain what the possible and probable reserves are with this play nor what those economics might mean for Doreal. This is not the big play for SEV. Rather, the Emerald Mountain play is the huge prospect being drilled by SEV with drilling in the area planned by Harken soon. I own some HEC stock and am watching that play like a hawk. I expect good things in HEC's future.

Sorry to get off topic. Best wishes with your DOY holdings.
