I must confess....
I called my local broker the other day and she wasn't in, so I got a guy that didnt recognize my voice. Naturally he had to verify my SS number etc, then pulled up the screen to take my order for another stock ( I was deficient in my online account for a buy I wanted to make) The conversation went like this:
Guy: Let's see, you hold CSMA with us?
Me: No, why do you ask?
Guy: Says here you bought 1000 shares (on such and such a date )
Me: oh, still open?
Guy: Yes
Me: How much did I pay for them>
Guy: $1.80
Me: Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Foolish me. Now I remember the day. It was flying past 2, I tried to buy 2000 shares and forgot to tell her "all or none"... she confirmed 1000 at 1.80, and do you want to leave your order in for the balance, and in my anger,(at myself) I said FORGET IT !
So, I am still one of you - never left, as it turned out! hehee
And have $2000 bucks hanging out there.... now I really will call Elrod :)
