2 basic questions maybe someone can answer. If intel bought dec's CPU business, how does CPQ get alpha, wouldn't that belong to intel, 2)if inventory is EVERYONES big concern, than why wouldn't compaq just write of the second quarter and start the second half of the year with the leanest inventory in the business. ----I know earnings do matter but that strategy while it kills the second quarter would make them MUCH more profitable in the future than current estimates suggest and make them more agile as well.
