[ End of Quarter Thoughts...]
The end of the first half of the year is upon us, and the numbers are in. For the first six months of 1998, my trades have appreciated my portfolio by 75.5%.
I'm thinking of starting off the next half year on a clean slate...perhaps on a new thread dedicated to trading. Shall it be called...the Rational Trader? Dave, Scott, Ray...you guys have been with me for a while, and I've enjoyed every day of it. Think you can join in if it gets the green light?
And Susan, Franco, Wink, and others...I've enjoyed your input so much. It would be a treat to have you join in as well.
Just some thoughts that are brewing in this head of mine. Needless to say, it's going to likely be a big commitment and scary on my part. I'm not a daytrader (just sometimes), and the time between trades may take weeks. Just like in Susan's link:
...govenment statistics show that during the Vietnam war, American infantry burnt up 200,000 rounds to get a single body count....whereas the trained sniper averaged 1.3 bullets per kill.
That's us.
