No, I don't think so. NYOTRAN clinical data do not show any advantage or better efficiency than AmBisome. It is different antifungal liposomal agent, nystatin. Generally, nystatin is less potent than Ampho B.

The problem is in general perception that AmBisome worldwide sale may decline and that in US will never penetrate successfully. From NXTR sale persons (at ASCO at LA) I have info that US sale is picking up (double in April compared to March) and EU sale is OK.

One more thing from ASCO. I spoke with Glaxo guy (who was involved in NX-211 preclinical development) and he is optimistic for this drug. Also GI147211 (lurtotecan) PII phase in trial NSCLC show that drug have good potency as topoisomerase inhibitor but toxicity is problem (difficulty with higher dose). Point is that Glaxo need NXTR if they want to bring this drug on market, as comparable or better than CT-11.

So, why Pat make the deal and equity investment with Glaxo at depressed stock price and unfavorable condition for NXTR. Why rush? Do they really need this 10 mm so quickly? Or he want to acquire option at favorable price (as award), and who care for dilution. How ordinary SH can explain his comments to analysts about stock price (conf. call): "do what you have to do, sell if you have to"? Like, it is not my problem so why I should care about?????

My message to him and Larry is: "Burn in Hell".
