>>Will Bob Brinker time it right ? I don't know. I wish I knew what indicators he uses. The fact that he conceeds the market can fall is something that I like about him. Many folks these days act as if that just isn't much of a possibility. I think his influence alone could rattle the market.<<

My guess is that Mr. Brinker will be timely, more or less, in calling the market's top. That's not to say however, that his followers will all get out at favorable prices when a sell recommendation is ultimately issued. Would anyone care to venture a guess as to the extent of Mr. Brinkers following? Given his widespread syndication, I'd guess its in the tens of million followers. Mr. Brinker seems to be one of few "responsible" market forecasters whom I'm sure is well aware of the influence he possesses over an enormous following. I also believe he is aware that an outright sell recommendation would signficantly and adversely affect the market. At this juncture, I think one needs to read between the lines somewhat. There are many levels of sophistication among his followers and I believe his recent turn to caution with out admitting to the bear case - yet - may be targeting those followers higher on the investment foodchain to consider adjustments to their portfolios.
