rudedog --CPQ will have the 600-700 million in discounts on chips ( obtain in the DEC/INTEL settlement ) they can use in the ALPHA arena to help the price competiveness vs SUN . I personally think INTEL has the vested interested to make the ALPHA a win -win for the company while the development is completed for the MERCED
