Chris,

I have to hand it to you, taking on the DELL thread is very dangerous, and to get under their skin is amazing..

I like the thread during hype season, but they are so mezmorized by the past performance of the stock that they arent willing to accept that there may be a period that DELL doesnt break new records.

I still do not understand the reason for the slowdown in the stock, other than the lack of earnings momentum. I still see the fundamentals intact in the stock, and would like you to keep me posted to that GC persons feelies as to entry points.

In the past DELL has corrected lightly after earnings, but looking at the chart, if things dont settle down, that this adjustment isnt going to be like those of the past. The stock usually corrects max of about 10-14 points.. We are right at about 16 points from the high. The curious thing to me is how the weekly Stochastics and RSI have really not dropped off like in times of previous slowdown. And momentum is actually at an all time high. At the same time the stock is about to hit its 250 MDA, right @ 80. To me it is critical to bounce this next week into the mid 80's to upper 80's. If I see a sharp test below 80 and no fast rebound, I am going to wait it out a month. I still think the 80 ish area is hard resistance.. There are alot of buyers of DELL anything too much lower than here..

Of course this is under the assumption of no lousy news from the sector or the market in general..
