What I'm thinking is that LU just may have a bunch of
pending acquisition targets which are on hold until October.

Any one of these might not be worthy of waiting to pool assets,
but taken as a group they might be worthy of such a policy.

LU is on track to become a dominant telecom player and I forsee
them picking up quite a few pieces along the way.

AWRE would be a candidate only insofar as:

- AWRE represents significant value as as engineering house
- AWRE has or develops other DSL IP which LU wishes to control
- LU royalties to AWRE (if any) become significant factor to LU
(viz. reduction of WildWire chipset pricing)

The conjunction of these factors may create some pull ... much
depends on what happens technically within UAWG and how AWRE
responds to maintain their IP leadership.

I consider AWRE assets and revenue a non-issue in such a situation,
the deal wouldn't be about the money, it would be about technology rights,
leverage, and people.
