Michael, I thought the only way Mu "preannounced" was by talking to guys like TechWeb for a story -- you see mentioned in the story some mildly negative inferences. Then later when the earnings suck or the news is otherwise bad, MU claims to have informed shareholders/investors of the news "last week". That's the sort of scenerio I've seen played out for the past several years. That's when they are not having "private (by invitation only)" analyst meetings. I still don't understand how giving advance information to a select group of analyst is kosher for a publicly owned company. Shouldn't they have to issue a press release or something to make sure the information is distributed equitably? I can't ever recall MU issuing a straightforward press release or calling a press conference to deliver news. Kathleen
