Randi, I would like to second the sentiments expressed in your referenced post, at least in part.

While the quarterbacks involved have loyal followings and different styles which somtmes conflict, I think things have gotten out of hand. Many insults and much name calling have transpired. Threads have been invaded and trashed. People are angry.

However, forgivenss is perhaps the most noble of human virtues and about due in the situation you describe, IMO. I think a start would be for all the quarterbacks and their teams to stop trashing the others' picks. When the hostilities have abated a bit, they could get together and decide on one stock that they would all get behind and support and all post it simultaneously as a JOINT pick.

Actually sociological research has given a name to this particular method of conflict resolution. It is called a superordinate goal and has been shown to be perhaps the most successful way of ending or at least moderating group and individual rivalries, which might otherwise escalate to the point of dangerous consequences. When the rival participants have a mutual goal which transcends their individual interests, they are able to work together for the benefit of all.

All of the quarterbacks you mention have something to recommend them, otherwise they would have been demoted to second string long ago.

Just a thought.
