Interesting news, the Physio-Control (P-C) lawsuit and their actual sales of a competitive unit to Air Zimbabwe (AZ). I wouldn't necessarily consider it lame. Any sale is significant. It is typical, particularly for an airline, to sample test new products. P-C's approach may be to get their FAA approval thru a form of flight certification with AZ. FAA approval is not needed for off shore flights.

It appears that HTST has big brother support from American Airlines (AMR). They probably helped with the FAA approval process. This is a big plus. Although HTST has cleared a path for FAA approval of competitive products, the process is very slow without a sponsor.

When asked about competition, the CEO stated that the only competition is from the older technology. Not mentioning P-C involvement, makes me wonder how many others potentials are lurking, ie Japanese.

HTST has a running start on the competition, now they need to leave them in the dust.

Regards,
Larry
