I'm new to this forum and just finished reading the entire cohr thread.I could't agree more that this is a solid company, and that in the long run it's value will be recognized.Other single product laser companies that are more hype than substance have traded at a market capitalization higher than cohr, and no laser company that I know of can match cohr in product depth.I guess I'm a little more optimistic than the rest of the contributers on this subject.I feel 50 in the short run is a forgone conclusion, and given the low pe relative to it's "peers" it should trade substansially higher in the long run. With the market runup this is one of the few bargains I see out there. These guys are pouring money into R&D at a rate of about 10% of ever increasing sales, and still showing very nice earnings gains. As a hi-tech stock with a modest 11 million shares outstanding it's to be expected that this will be a volatile stock. From reading everyones thoughts on this stock I detect a sense of frustration over it's lack of performance recently, but when everyone gives up and starts chasing the highflyers it has to be the time to buy.As Intel,Microsoft, and others have shown if you are number one in a market eventually it will pay off.

As a sidenote, does anyone out there have any thoughts on a water-jet cutter company named Flow International?[FLOW]
