CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Nov. 20, 1996-- Gensym Corp.
(NASDAQ:GNSM), a leading provider of software for creating
intelligent systems, today announced that it has begun research and
development operations in Europe.

Located at Gensym's office in Maidenhead, England, the new
European R&D Center has been established to advance the development
of Gensym's core products, particularly in the directions of
enterprise solutions, Internet connectivity, and enhanced graphical
user interfaces. The Center is led by Michael Gribble, formerly with
Gensym Solution Partner ABB Linkman Ltd.
