It sounds like you think Jerry Brown will be good for Oakland, Melinda. After hearing about Shannon Reeves, it would be nice to think there is a place for him in city government as well. What does he do for a living, or is heading the NAACP a full-time job?

One thing I like about Jerry Brown is that he is attracted to people who are smart and have interesting ideas. It seems logical that he will graciously make room in his administration for everyone who can help Oakland recover.
