I do not think that the subzero PC's are a big deal for DELL. When DELL does begin to sell these it will not be to first time users so I do not expect any unusual service problems. Also, they may be sufficiently configurable to actually have a range of prices over the minimally configured units. CPQ really can't do this because they build units in batches for the stores and the channel. So I expect reduced configurability but not rigidity.

Remember, if you are a first time user , you are not likely to be purchasing over the internet.

Incidently, I would not be surprised to see DELL come out with a designer styled PC like Apple has for the education market.
