Acrodyne Announces High Power Diacrode(R)Equipped Transmitter Sales to Exceed $1,000,000

BLUE BELL, Penn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 1, 1998--Acrodyne Communications, Inc. ACRO , a leading manufacturer and installer of
television transmitters is pleased to announce agreements for the sale of high power UHF transmitters to Media Venture Management, Inc.,
and Dominion Broadcasting, Inc. The agreements are for delivery and installation of 60kW Diacrode based transmitters at various locations.
These sales, valued in excess of $1,000,000, add to the steadily increasing list of Acrodyne high power UHF transmitter users.

The agreement with Media Venture Management, Inc., calls for installation of a single tube Au60D transmitter at KADY-TV in Los Angeles, CA,
and the addition of an Au60D transmitter at WTXL-TV in Tallahassee, FL, to increase power there to 120kW. Acrodyne installed an Au60D in
Tallahassee in 1996.

Acrodyne is installing an Au60D transmitter in Adrian, MI, for Dominion Broadcasting, Inc. The station, WLMB-TV, will serve the Toledo, OH,
market with Christian programming. Dominion management chose Acrodyne as the most economical operating transmitter system after careful
evaluation of may installations.
