For what it's worth, a colleague of mine asked the finance people whether the number of authorized shares could prevent a stock split and he said no. In other words, I think the only thing stopping INTC splitting is board approval (and the desire to do it). When is the next board meeting? Jan? Perhaps they'll announce at Comdex... Richard
