Hello Don,

Thank you VERY MUCH for the kind words.... I'm not sure if I deserve them but I try....

If you can not put MA's on OBV try a MACD series instead.... I like to look at three MACD's. I use a MACD (8-17-9) leading into a
MACD (13-26-9) leading into a MACD (13-34-89). In most cases, the 8-17-9 will come first followed by the (13-26-9) but they may flip positions. That's not a problem. The (13-34-89) will keep you in much longer BUT, it's one of the best longer term indicators out there.

I use the MACD (8-17-9) as my buy signal along with my StochRSI (14), and Parabolic SAR. Once I'm in and the stock is moving up I will start looking for my sell. If I'm not sure of the market, I'll use the first sell I get from SAR, MACD (8-17-9) or StochRSI (14) to get out. If I like the Market, I'll switch over to the longer term MACD (13-34-89) for the longer term ride. Now, in most cases, I will only use the MACD (13-34-89) for the sell if I like the market ( not right now) AND it had turned long AFTER I was already into the stock....

Does this make sense????
