If this chip supporting W-CDMA is going to be deployed in South Korea, it might be backwards compatible with cdmaOne. Maybe not only that indicates Asia supports the W-CDMA flavor with backwards compatibility, but they are doing something about gaining a lead, while Europe is temporarily frozen in politics, knowing that ITU has final say?
