I got the impression that you didnt have any Intel puts ? It would seem to me that it is in a very precarious position.

Given the delays in the merced chip which I equate to the next upgrade cycle in the year 2000 or so.
Given the extensive competition from Cyrix, AMD and the Winchip from (national ?) I see microprocessor prices heading in the same direction as dram. (although maybe not as fast) No monopoly and high current margins = mucho competition and lower margins in near future.
Given the high value assigned to Intel (120billion) market cap which is high by most standards of valuation. p/b, p/s, pe

It would seem that Intel could be in for a serious haircut. Agree/Disagree. If you disagree, what areas would you buy your puts in now. (time frames would also be helpful) ie leaps etc.
