I agree that it allows them to acquire others with lower cost of currency. But I'm dubious because the essence of a consulting firm is long term customer relationships with repeatable business, and I'm not sure that can be clearly established with a company that has had such a short life. Secondly, it's very possible that some of the rainmakers that came over from KPMG will make a lot of quick money on this deal, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of executive turnover after the first year. I may sound too cynical here but it does have a fast money feel and it's not apparent to me that the foundation of a consulting firm is firmly in place.
