Don:

Early in ATMI's history, we worked on many government contracts. One series focused on using chemical vapor deposition (ATMI's core semiconductor expertise) to coat fibers. From those contracts, we developed biodegradable and selectively reflective chaff. Our Lundy Division--which was not material, so we never bothered to talk about it--managed this. This sale--again, non-material to ATMI--takes this small non-semiconductor business off our plate, and gives Alliant a strong presence in this area of the defense marketplace.

Regards,

Dean
