Ericy demonstrated infared ports at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. You had to hold the palmtop so that it could "see" the infared module plugged into the bottom of the Ericy phone. This allowed you to surf with the windows browser.

What are you going to use Nokia's ports for?

Can I have a cord I can plug into each box so that I can tuck the phone in my pocket? If I am holding the phone with one hand and the palmtop in the other, looks like I am going to have to surf the net with my nose.
