Gary, you are not answering my question directly. Let me give you an example.
According to the Press Release on May 18th, I can get an extra "P" for every two "P's" I own, IF I HOLD THE "P's" until Oct. 1, 1999.
For example...accroding to very specific terms of this release
If I own 1,000 MIDLP right now. On Oct.1, 1998, I can convert these to 35,000 common On Oct.1 ,1999, I can get an extra 17,500 shares of common.
Now, have they changed this? Can I have convert and have 52,500 MIDL shares right now (or very soon). Will someone be able to convert 1,000 of their MIDLP immediately and DUMP (i.e SELL) 52,500 commons onto the market?
Don't you see why I need clarification?
YOU SEE....ONE OF THE GREAT THINGS ABOUT THE MAY 18th ANNOUNCEMENT IS THAT IT ENCOURAGED PEOPLE TO HOLD THE MIDLP's. It gave incentive to NOT sell until Oct. 1, 1999.
Now, if you give the dividend away immediately, won't it encourage selling and hurt the stock price?
What am I missing? ... a very simple explanation!!!!!!!! is needed here. |
