M.O: If this prolonged wave of takeover rumors persists, it is likely to affect

a: The morale of Bay's employees.

b: Sales. Customers making large purchases generally postpone purchases till Terms of a takeover are made public.

It will therefore be prudent for BAY's mgmt. to now clearly indicate their intentions and act accordingly.
