Personally I don't think so...rather, I think that MS and others have their hands full with current releases, pending releases, and the DOJ, and Intel might find Merced out there with little or no OS and application support...plus, there certainly appears to be some resistance from PC manufacturers to the continual churn on Intel's processors, which makes the mfg's inventory quickly obsolete, which costs them a great deal of money/margin... As Dennis Miller says, "but that's just my opinion, I could be wrong...<g>"
