Thank you.... I WAS confused by the auto-conversion date of Oct. 1, 1999 (assumed it was the date that you has to WAIT to get the divident), and it stemmed from what 2 longtime shareholders told me on May 18th after the initial announcement. I really don't LIVE AND BREATHE this stock, so I apologize if I own and follow 13 other stocks . I was just asking a simple question, so thank you Vegas for clarifying. That's ALL I was ever asking for. Confirms what Gary told me as well.

I was not the only one as I got more 9 confused repsonses over the weekend and this morning asking ME to explain things! LOL!

VEGAS WROTE:
You are equating the conversion to the actual dividend. Its a 2 step process.
1-The dividend gets paid (5/29/98)
2-The dividend converts (10/99).

So yes the conversion date is changed to 10/98 (from 10/99) for all MIDLP (pre or
post-split). But if you don't understand the above this won't make any sense.
