John, regarding the JBS article, I find it interesting that the argument is not "here's why these guys are wrong", but, rather, "here's why it's not Doomsday". That's like saying, "OK, the weathermen predicting the tornado have a point, but as it will most likely level only a few dozen buildings, no sense worrying the whole town."
