When microsoft bundles SQL server, Backoffice, SMS, etc, then I guess all those will also be integral to the OS?
It's a silly joke to have a product (IE) that existed a while as a separate product (and still is) then claim it is an integral part of the OS becuase the DLLs are shared between both.
Gates should admit he was caught off guard with the importance of the broswer paradigm without claiming it's integral to windows, caught off guard with a new huge market that he didn't control. This integral part is insulting to a 'print "hello world"' BASIC programmer.
