Here's something interesting from today's news:

<06/01/98 - Tokyo Gas Launches NGV-Promotion Program
Tokyo, Japan - Tokyo Gas Co. is launching a major campaign to promote the use of natural gas-fueled vehicles (NGVs), reports Nihon Keizai Shimbun. The company plans to increase the number of stations it operates from 22 to 39 by March, 1999. By March 2001, Tokyo Gas will also increase its own fleet of NGVs from 343 to 650, an amount equal to 20 percent of its fleet. Some 2,093 NGVs were on the road in Japan at the end of 1997, but automakers there have announced plans to mass-produce the vehicles. City gas companies see NGVs as a way to boost demand for natural gas, since the average vehicle consumes 2,000 cubic meters of fuel per year. That amount represents five times the consumption of a typical household.>

Remember the Honda deal ?

Also, if you look at ATPX's annual report, I think that you'll find what Company has the largest market share in natural gas tanks for buses.
Japan is making a serious commitment to natural gas powered vehicles and ATPX is in a good position to get some new business.
