I would wait a while. Please read the TSM thread. According to local news, fabs like TSM is losing money on every DRAM 16MB they sell. Situation will not improve unless DRAM price stabilizes, which is not likely in the short term. MU is right, the Korean government is subsidizing their chip makers with the IMF funds, and the oversupply will go on. Typically, there is a 6 month lag between the rise of the chip stock and the rebound of the semi equip, so far I don't see any rise in the chip stocks. Additionally, TSM is AMAT's last hope, who knows what the bottom is if TSM starts to cancel/delay orders.
