I suggest you look at MKD-V Markatech. They announced in January that they were working on a CD manufacturing plant, then announced in April the details of a deal, and they announced last week confirmation of the deal.
The market today confirmed the start of this play. Although there was plenty of stock on the offer, the bids chewed through a big chunk of them. Over the past week the volume was over 400,000 shares, showing the market is interested. We should see continued rise in share price as a result.
The interest this week is no accident. The company seems to have brought some promoters on line, and are gearing up the fundamentals. As stated in the press release, this has developed to a mature stage (end of June production), and once the story gets out it will generate some excitement.
It is still unknown when a consolidation will happen, but it looks like those who are waiting for it to happen are going to miss out on some of the move. I think the recent drop in share price was the market reaction to the consolidation and subsequent dilution from raising capital. With that already factored in, I think we will see a smooth transition to the new share structure.
Once again, do your due diligence by reviewing the MKD thread Subject 5995 , or by talking to Lawrie at 1-800-338-7844 before this snaps up to a double.
