Very ODD NR; Halt is requested by the company even though no shares had even traded. Big buy by one person on Friday who should be investigated if this is some sort of good news. Given that this is about the original deadline for negotiations and they were likely always working towards this date maybe it is the deal or an announcement that there is no deal.

If the company requested the Halt then one would think they are ready to release - not wait a day.

the only reason I can think other than playing little halt games to get the publics attention is that maybe they wanted a halt so the stock would not run on rumour and then have the ASE force the Halt.

Nonetheless - a wierd one
