I recently asked my local bank branch manager (of a major regional bank) if he was ready for Year 2000. After a great deal of hemming and hawing and doublespeak, it became apparent that I knew more about the Y2K problem than he did. Not very comforting. Am wondering if others on this forum have had any similar experiences. It's a simple test to conduct. While you're at it, you might also ask your broker, insurance agent, mortgage holder and others with their fingers in your financial pie.
