Steve, Welcome back to the good ole' USA. Hope you don't melt in the heat!

If and when you sober up, I'd like your input on my message 2960. Doing a TA on the whole DJIA stocks was kind of an undertaking for my first splash. I curious what you think. In addition, all the lurkers are welcome to comment. Eventually, I want to have a firm grip on the some 56 cos with a market cap greater than 50B.

I follow a European Oil Services stock (PGO) and that area is still getting trashed. Let me share two other stocks with the thread. One of methods I utilize I call reasonable momentum. This method uses Value Line for the universe. Very seldom is a stock ranked by Value Line "1" for timeliness and "1" for safety. I have never seen that combination be a looser over time. Currently, SGP is thus ranked.

In addition, my screen identified a really nifty small cap. Because of my methods, it is very rare that a small cap would make my list. I have been hesitating on this one because the data is supposed to be published but I'm getting tired of waiting. So ... look at TNL. A boring little co in a boring little niche that has beat the Index over the last 5 years and year to date. From a TA perspective, it's at the top of a trading channel, so I'd wait until it goes down to the mid-thirties or breaks thru 42. But, I really like this one!

Great call on the utility sector!
