I was very imnpressed at the Brea location. I arrived Saturday at around 5pm and it was about 3/4 full even at that hour. A mix of families and adult groups. If there wasn't beer at a table there was a Pizookie for sure, and lots had both. I imagine these are both pretty high margin items. And of course lots of food. The salb of ribs that went by could easily have fed 2. I had the great white pizza and it was excellent. The service was great as well, and I don't think my bias makes me think that the servers are all just a little more tuned in and wanting to please everyone more than the typical restaurant, the they seemed to have a good rapport and sense of teamwork amongst themselves. I did id myself as a shareholder right away cos i wanted a tour first, but i observed everything with other customers too as I slithered around the premises soaking everything in between sips of beer waiting for my food. Everything seems to be moving forward for Woodland Hills, and I also, after dinner, met with the manager, who is also the training manager (correct title?). This is by design as they want the new managers to be trained at the flagship store. She was a bundle of energy and enthusiasm and knowledge, and is clearly headed for success herself as well. As a shareholder, I am happy to sit and let the cash flow and profits slowly rise, let the stock price gradually head up, eventually towards $5.50, have the warrants kick in to get 60 million of cheap financing to bankroll tons more of the large brewery type restaurants. I think the momentum of this company is building, and the plan is obviously set--it just has to be executed, and I have confidence it can be. |
