I don't think they will preannounce either. I'm just trying to get some excitement going on this thread. <g> You know that they won't preannounce. I know that they won't preannounce. But the dummy who trades this stock for its initials and sees the general tech selloff does not. That is why he is a dummy. There are a lot of dummies on the street that have enough stock under their control to be considered a hazard or menace to organized society. But given ADTN's relatively flat sales there is a danger of sales growth becoming negative on a comparative quarter over quarter basis for the tiniest of reasons. ADTN doesn't have enough growth areas to counter-balance other areas that might be becoming saturated or affected somewhat because of currency conversions. My point is that it looks worse for ADTN to have its sales go from +6% down to -1% quarter over quarter than it does for another company to go from +20% down to +13% quarter over quarter. I think you get my point and perhaps can see why I need to see ADTN in the high teens before I'll take interest in it. Otherwise, its a fine company and compared to other types of tech stocks this quarter, flat sales might look real good. <g>
