David,
Regarding options, I am no expert, but if you want an opinion, here is mine. I would rather buy the stock here and write the options than buy them. With Nasdaq plunge, and wide- spread weakness in SOX index, to me it seems odds would be against the call buyer here as buying is weak in general, and funds seem to be rotating out of techs, and especially out of semiconductor related equipment stocks, and into defensive issues like the retails, and big-caps. I screwed up and bought in too early, but then that is a habit with me it seems. Anyway...so the trend is not your friend here, which is what you would want in order to profit from buying calls. Just my two cents here.
If you are familiar with ATMI products, could you give us your personal take ATMI products, and how they measure up vs any competition, and how you view the future for this company? Anything you could add would be appreciated I'm sure by all on this thread. Good luck to all. Peter. |
