Tuesday, June 02, 1998 Macromedia generates Flash graphics June 1, 1998 9:08am Mac Week Online Macromedia Inc. in May released a public beta of Flash Generator, its server software for real-time, data-driven Web graphics and animations. The software is available for Windows only. Scheduled to ship this summer, the software serves data files that update graphics created in Macromedia's Flash 3.0 vector graphics and animation application (see 04.20.98, Page 1). Macromedia would not say whether it plans to release a Macintosh version of Flash Generator.
