I'm no expert on the market. I do know something about technology and this kind of business. I have worked in the software professional services industry for some time

If I ever have an occasional insight into the market, it is due to either my earlier research into the stock shorting cabal, business insight or pure luck. Here is most of my take on the issues with IAIC.

As IAIC continues the transition from a stock based on speculative future value to one based on fundamentals, there is an opportunity for some to suggest that it is not a 'good' stock based on pure fundamentals. While this is true, it is a short term phenomenon and the next several quarters will quickly show REAL REVENUE (IMO). The fact that this happens soon supports the speculative value above the fundamental value of this stock.

Calculations based on the post 2000 revenue projected by Sandy (100 mil per yr) and a PE of 10 show this stock undervalued regardless of the peaks expected soon in one time (extraordinary) income from the Y2K problem. Any real analysis of the length of Y2K revenue vs the length of other technology trends shows little difference. Riding the wave of the next trend is a continuous problem for companies in this business.

The key factors to watch in IAIC include publicity and what other output languages they designate for post 2000. Any attempt to loose their product arm would render IAI am uninteresting company IMO. Other than that worry, all is well from where I sit.
