Salah: All this talk of olive branches. How about this scenario? IBM buys NOVL and smothers it with a tip 'o the hat to Bill (in the spirit of cooperation). Nobody can scream about MS antitrust. Everyone will assume NOVL will be scuttled in typical bumbling IBM fashion, nobody suspecting the fix is in. IBM will of course offer token support to existing NOVL clients, maybe sell off bits and pieces to Larry and the gang, and let her die in the shadow of WINTEL. Hmmmm... Regards, AJ
