D.D.,
I think you are correct in assuming that the only the upper was used in reserve comments. That release was made prior to these tests of the two shallow zones. I haven't looked to see if the middle Ubaque was even present in the Estero #1, but I would think if it was, Harken would have noted it being additional potential in the No. 1. If the Middle Ubaque was present then it must not have looked promising. It is a very good question that we need to find out. It is possible that they were just a little more curious when drilling the No. 3 and tested a zone that they thought was probably "wet" in the No. 1. I believe they are expediting the pipeline construction. I spoke with Harken yesterday, and during a casual conversation, it was noted that when doing business in Columbia, you have to adapt to their way of doing things.....SLOWLY. This comment came with no prodding from me. It was just made in passing. So, I think a lot of the delays we are seeing are frustrating to Harken as well as the stockholders. It is probably something we need to learn to live with. Seems you can't "build a fire" under those guys.
Keep Smilin'.... looks like a buying op to me. Where are you Gabriela? (Buy the dips!)
