OK, who keeps pulling the rug out from under us?

I've seen all the "news" and I understand the technology. TDFX has products that are hot and in heavy demand. They have newer and better products waiting in the wings. They are making money. They are sure to show profit again when this quarter is reported. The 3D market is expanding and they will soon re-enter the 2D/3D market with a superior product (there is no doubt they learned their lesson from the RUSH fiasco).

So where are the buyers? It seems that the "pool" of people who trade (buy/sell/watch) this company's stock is inappropriately timid and afraid to go long even with the great fundamentals TDFX has. Why are TDFX investors such chickens, looking for disaster around every turn, while companies like YHOO and AOL have such dedicated, confident, forward looking investors who won't sell even at the recent high prices?

The TDFX market is bound to eventually get back on its feet, especially after another quarter of profits, don't you agree? If not, what am I missing here?
