The general market conditions are just very negative right now and
people are raising cash. There is a lot of concern about a major
correction at least among those who I speak with. So until this
mentality changes we will see weakness. If you look at the NASDAQ
there has been almost a 10% correction already but with its volatility
it certainly can get much worse. It is not so much about a lot of
sell side volume as it is no one willing to put cash on the line. But
a lot of cash is building on the sidelines so if the second quarter
earnings picture brightens, Asia calms down, currencies stabilize,
etc. things could move to the upside quickly but we are asking for a
lot to turn around so I think this malaise could last into the summer
before there is a rally. That is not to say I am happy about it.
