Janice: The way I read it, IntellAgents will supply bodies to assist clients in performing the Y2K compliance testing. Theoretically, IntellAgents will utilize the "11th Hour" tool to perform the testing. Caution: I don't think there is anything to prevent IntellAgents from using other available software, so the overall value of the contract could be diminished. 40,000 is an awful lot of units to be shipped in 90 days. That gives IntellAgents 3 months to contract with clients, install the software, and perform the compliancy tests. It would be interesting to determine how many individual PC's can be tested by one IntellAgent person in a day's time.
Also, would each PC need its own copy of the software? The licensing agreement, if written as many others have been, might state that the product can be used on only one PC at a time. Thus, an IntellAgent tester could use one copy of the product, install it on a client PC, run the tests, then disinstall. This process could be repeated several times per day per tester. Hopefully, there are some restrictions on the product's use in this manner. Otherwise, there would only be the need for one product per tester per client site. That would reduce the need for those 40,000 units tremendously.
