<< Believe me, My Margin Monster is right there, too. RDRT has me
right on the edge of a call. The two weeks that John had told me
in that first conversation is up and I needed it to happen to make
MMM go away, but it didn't yet. Hanging on for quals to get
announced has not been fun.
I have been expecting a margin call everyday for the last 7 days.
While my account has gone down each day during that time, so
far no call. I am down 32.3% from a peak on 5/13. I wish you the
same luck, as to not having a margin call. And I wish us both the
opposite luck as to the account balances.
P.S. How are you going to buy at $8 if you're against the margin
wall?

I see that I am not alone in taking a 30-35% haircut since
early May, the whole year gain is gone, I think I am even
be in the red ...
The magnitude of some of the decline really caught me by
surprise, and we are just getting into earnings preannouncement
whcih makes me really nervous.
The margin guy might call me anytime, if I have to double
down on this dude, I just have to sell some of the other
dudes in my portfolio (which incidentally is almost vaporized) |
